I have been wanting to eat at Coperta for the longest! Located in the Uptown-Five Points area is this gorgeous restaurant! I had a blogger event there a year ago, where they had small bites, but I was ready for a great Italian meal. Restaurant Week was the perfect time to venture to Coperta. For $35, I received four incredible courses NS Coperta had three options for each course which was pretty extensive for a Restaurant Week menu. Let's hop into it!

Course #1: Suppli al telefono. I have been dreaming of these since! OMG! This ranks in my top 10 Denver dishes. Fried risotto, mozzarella, and prosciutto served with a tomato sauce. I could eat these bites all day.

Course #2: Spaghetti cacio e pepe. Thick spaghetti tossed in pecorino romano, olive oil, and ground black pepper. It was a simple dish, but the fresh high-quality cheese made it a great warm-up for the main entree.

Course #3: Beef sirloin and polenta. This was prepared a little more rare than I would normally take a steak, but I loved it. The sirloin melted in your mouth and was simply seasoned with course salt and pepper. I'm also typically not a fan of polenta (I know, I have weird texture issues), but with this steak, it was well-prepared and palatable to me.

Course 4: Stracciatella gelato. The finale was this light-minty gelato with nice chucks of chocolate chip. I wanted to order an extra! Creamy texture with a home made waffle to pair it.

In sum, Coperta is bomb!!! Every course on this Restaurant Week menu was Grade A. I would order the whole meal over again. I can't wait to continue visiting and trying items from their rotating, seasonal menu. Also, a lot of people were there for their happy hour which had a great selection of food and beverage items. Make sure to order that appetizer!
