Happy Friday the 13th!!! Let's roll...

How ‘bout them Golden Globes?!?! Many of our favs (Atlanta, Donald Glover, Moonlight, Viola) won!!! Ms. Tracie Ellis Ross was the first Black woman in 35 years to win a Golden Globes for a comedy television show. Amazing. Our girl, Issa Rae, was the definition of slay in her white shimmery Christian Siriano gown. Stunning!

Speaking of Tracie Ellis Ross, I hope everyone caught this week’s episode of black-ish entitled Lemons. Such a powerful episode on feelings surrounding the Presidential election and the state of the country. Here’s a NY Times review of the episode.

Obama’s farewell address was perfection. Here’s a transcript in case you want to go back and read.

CVS now has a more affordable, generic version of the EpiPen. For those that don’t know, the original EpiPen costs $600+—making it inaccessible to many who need one. Kudos to CVS!

The Crunk Feminist Collective released their book, The Crunk Feminist Collection. The book contains essays on a range of topics, covering feminism, intersectionality, sex, and of course, Beyoncé. I downloaded it to my Kindle a few weeks ago, read a few chapters, and already love it!

Nintendo Switch or nah?? The upcoming Zelda graphics are beautiful!

I was a die-hard 24 fan, so I’m hyped for 24: Legacy! And one of our favorites is back.

Remember: Monday is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Make sure you check out community and service events in your neighborhood. Have a fun weekend!!
